Alexander Lyman Reid

Alexander Reid is partner and national leader of the Tax-Exempt Organizations and Charitable Giving team at BakerHostetler LLP. Previously, he served the Joint Committee on Taxation at the U.S. Congress as Legislation Counsel, the Office of Tax Policy at the U.S. Department of Treasury as Attorney Advisor, and the Tax Exempt Organizations Committee of the American Bar Association as Chair. He recently became the author, with Amber MacKenzie, of the treatise, Taxation of Exempts, familiarly known as “Hill and Mancino.” Alex earned a BA in philosophy from Yale University and JD and LL.M in taxation from New York University School of Law where he was Editor in Chief of the Law Review.
