Alana Detenbeck is a Manager in PwC's Forensic Services practice in Toronto. She is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) and Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE). In addition, she has a specialist designation in Investigative and Forensic Accounting (CA•IFA).
Alana has been involved in a variety of engagements including forensic investigations related to management and employee fraud, Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA) and Corruption of Foreign Public Officials Act (CFPOA) investigations and compliance reviews and anti-money laundering (AML). Her experience spans a variety of industries including financial services, real estate, mining, health care, manufacturing, retail, pharmaceuticals and not-for-profits and multiple countries including Canada, the United States, Poland, Hong Kong, China and Mexico.
Alana currently sits on CPA Canada's Women's Leadership Council and participates in several volunteer initiatives.
