Alan W. Stewart CPA, CA.IFA

Alan is a Partner of Deloitte Forensic of the Canadian firm. Alan has conducted and managed hundreds of investigative and litigation-support assignments in North America and the United Kingdom. He has extensive experience handling every aspect of a case from scoping and strategic planning, interviewing witnesses and suspects and managing the detailed analysis and model building, to assisting with all stages of reporting discovery and providing expert testimony at deposition and trial. Alan’s particular area of specialization is the financial services industry. He has led numerous high-profile complex investigations for banks, brokerage houses and other institutions, many of which have involved reviewing compliance practices and procedures. Alan has given numerous presentations and has taught courses to professional and law enforcement groups including the Ontario Police College, the Ontario Securities Commission, Osgoode Hall Law School, the American Bar Association and the Jamaica Institute of Bankers.
