Alan Powell Senior Vice President Clutch Technologies Alan Powell is Senior Vice President for Clutch Technologies. Clutch builds patent-pending software that powers subscription car service, providing an all-new approach to car ownership. Powell joined the Clutch team in 2016 and has the important mission of capturing the mindshare of the automotive sector, including dealerships and OEMs nationwide, as the industry embraces subscription technology. Before joining Clutch, Powell was a member of the executive team for PlayOn! Sports, an innovative technology platform bringing schools and communities together through dynamic content produced on the NFHS Network (High School Sports Network). He helped guide PlayOn! to its current status as the nation’s largest high school sports media company. Powell is well versed at developing new industries and has been responsible for creating disruptive technologies for more than 20 years. He spent nine years with Movero/BroadSource, one of the trendsetters in the telecom expense management arena, and also sat on the executive team for Digital Insight, an Intuit company, a provider of one of the most widely used online banking solutions. He began his career in the mid-90s as co-founder of nFront, Inc., the pioneer of Internet banking and payments for businesses and consumers. Graduating from the Georgia Institute of Technology, he holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial and Systems Engineering.
