Adrienne Rhodes PhD

Adrienne Rhodes graduated from New Mexico State University with a bachelor’s degree in Applied Mathematics in 2005 and a master’s degree in accounting in 2007. During her graduate work, Adrienne began teaching introductory accounting courses at New Mexico State University which motivated her to pursue a PhD in Accounting. She graduated with a PhD from the Pennsylvania State University in 2013 and served as an Assistant Professor at Texas A&M University from 2013 to 2020. She has taught course at the introductory level as well as financial and managerial courses. Adrienne has been a member of the PhD Project Accounting Doctoral Student Association and Faculty Alumni Association since 2008.

Adrienne’s research focuses on the uses of accounting information for efficient contracting in both the debt and compensation settings. She also focuses on executive teams and financial reporting quality.
