Adam J. Herman, CPA/ABV/CFF, CVA, ASA, CFE, is a Shareholder and Director of Consulting Services for Mueller Prost PC, one of the leading, locally-owned CPA and business advisory firms in St. Louis, Missouri. Adam is successful in supporting new business growth nationwide through his leadership, energy, integrity, creativity, and networking skills, and he is highly respected among valuation, IRS and business professionals. As Director of Consulting Services, Adam manages an elite group of professionals in the fastest growing areas of public accounting today, including CPAs, valuation analysts, forensic accountants, engineers and technical writers. Under Adams leadership, these professionals provide consulting services including business valuations, forensic accounting services, research and experimentation tax credit studies, seed-to-early-stage business support, litigation support and expert testimony services. Adams experience includes working with a wide variety of industries including aerospace, automotive, construction, dental laboratories, engineering, IT consulting, computer software, legal services, life sciences/biotechnology, medical practices, pharmacy, plastics, telecommunications, transportation/trucking, as well as other retail, manufacturing, service, and professional business establishments. He is also the Chairman of the Business Valuation Committee for PKF North America, an association of more than 100 independent CPA firms, and is currently serving as the Co-Chairman of the National R&E Roundtable Group. In addition to speaking engagements for various local and national organizations, Adam presents at a wide variety of colleges and universities for educational purposes. He is active in various civic and charitable organizations, as well. Also, Adam was honored to be named to the 40 Under 40 Class of 2007 by the St. Louis Business Journal and was named one of the 100 St. Louisans You Should Know by St. Louis Small Business Monthly in 2011. Adam holds a Bachelor of Science degree with concentrations in accounting and finance from the State University of New York at Buffalo, where he graduated with honors.
