Aaron Netten is an Accounting Policy Senior Manager on the Enterprise Accounting Policy & SEC Reporting team at Wells Fargo. Aaron and his team are responsible for consulting and liaising with executive and business unit management, accounting support groups and functional partners related to technical accounting and SEC reporting matters. Aaron and his team focus their work on supporting the capital markets businesses and related activities at Wells Fargo. Topical areas of expertise include derivatives and hedging, consolidation/VIEs, financial asset transfers and securitizations, fair value, trading activities, investments in debt and equity securities, funding liabilities, debt v. equity and stockholders’ equity transactions.

Aaron has worked at Wells Fargo since 2000. During that time, Aaron has over 12 years of experience in accounting policy roles. Aaron also held various other accounting-related roles, including business unit controller. Prior to joining Wells Fargo, Aaron worked in public accounting as an auditor at McGladrey and Wipfli. Aaron has a bachelor’s and master’s degree in accounting from the University of South Dakota. Aaron is a certified public accountant (inactive).
