Rafael Roman CPA, CGMA

Rafael Roman is a Senior Technical Manager at the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants in Washington, DC, where his primary responsibility is to work on governmental auditing and accounting matters. He manages the activities of the AICPA Governmental Audit Quality Center and staffs the AICPA Governmental Audit Quality Center Executive Committee. Rafael joined the AICPA on March 2005. Prior to joining the AICPA, Rafael was a manager at a large national firm working on Federal financial audits. However, the majority of his governmental audit experience was obtained as an internal auditor for the U.S. Marine Corps. Rafael is a graduate of Mary Washington University and is a CPA, CGMA, CIA, CGAP, and CCSA.
