Susan Yount

Susan Yount, CPA, joined the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission's Office of Interactive Disclosure in June 2009 to support the Commission's commitment to make financial disclosure accessible through the application of interactive data.

A CPA with nearly 20 years of experience, Ms. Yount most recently worked with XBRL implementations for Microsoft, including the Investor Central website and the FRLive financial reporting product. She has also worked with the Enhanced Business Reporting Consortium to drive the development of an XBRL taxonomy for Management's Discussion and Analysis. Ms. Yount was previously an XBRL advisor and Principal Associate for Two Degrees, an accounting and finance consulting firm, where she was involved in developing a service offering for implementing XBRL as well as helping clients prepare SEC filings and interpret and apply accounting standards. Prior to joining Two Degrees, Ms. Yount was responsible for external reporting at Cutter & Buck, a sportswear company. She spent the first six years of her career in public accounting, with Ernst & Young and Price Waterhouse.

Ms. Yount attended the University of Washington, where she graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Business Administration and a concentration in Accounting.
