John has 30 years of compliance experience and is a Shareholder with DoerenMayhew. John leads the nationwide credit union compliance practice.  John assists credit unions  nationwide in establishing regulatory compliance programs, conducting compliance testing, training staff on regulations, and performing website and advertising compliance testing. John writes and edits the compliance newsletter and conducts compliance webinars. He is a frequent speaker at credit union industry conferences and state associations on topics ranging from regulatory compliance trends to BSA/AML/OFAC issues, compliance management to marketing and website compliance. John is an attorney who attended Utica College of Syracuse University, University of Colorado at Boulder, University of Copenhagen, Denmark, and Vermont Law School.
