A CFO in many global divisions of Siemens for almost 20 years in the UK, Switzerland, Belgium, France and the USA. I have worked most of my career turning around low performing businesses, primarily in the factory automation, electrical distribution and smart building technologies markets. Since October 2018 I left my comfort zone of Large Corporate environments to apply my turnaround skills in the private equity arena where I am fully enjoying the accountability and freedom which comes with smaller, more nimble environments to act faster and drive greater value quicker. I see the explosion of both the availability and controllability of data as both a risk and an incredible opportunity for the Finance professional going forward.
