Elizabeth Nilsen CPA, CGMA

Ms. Elizabeth Nilsen, CPA, CGMA has been Chief Financial Officer at FKP Architects, Inc. since August 2014. Ms. Nilsen's experience spans over 20 years in accounting, financial management and corporate leadership roles. She served as the Chief Financial Officer for West Yost Associates, a water, wastewater and storm water civil engineering firm in Davis, California. Since 2003, she has been responsible for all aspects of corporate financial leadership including financial strategy, executive leadership advising, design and implementation of financial and IT systems, and support management. Additionally, her specific experience in the architecture, engineering and construction industries includes managing talent and other resources for building projects, and working with industry ERP software tools like Deltek Vision. Prior to her CFO role, she held progressive roles from accountant to controller for private companies, CPA firms, and not-for-profit organizations since beginning her career. Ms. Nilsen is a graduate of Texas A&M Corpus Christi, where she earned a BA in Psychology and an MBA in Management and Accounting.
