Eric Lynn, CPA, CGMA, MBA
Eric Lynn received his undergraduate Bachelor of Science degree in Music from Wayne State University in Detroit Michigan and currently plays alto and tenor sax. Also, he received his Master of Business Administration from Walsh College in Troy Michigan.
Mr. Lynn has over 15 years of experience in senior management roles with non-profit organizations. His primary responsibilities have been in the financial, management and operations area. He is currently employed as the SVP, Chief Financial Officer at The Michigan Association of Certified Public Accountants where he leads the financial operations, data analytics and facility management of the organization. He also holds certificates from the AICPA for Data Analytics and Not-for-Profit and is a graduate of the Institute's CPA Ambassador Program.
Mr. Lynn has also served as Treasurer and Board Member of the Ronald McDonald House Detroit and as a member of the Susan G Komen Greater Detroit Grant review panel. Also, Mr. Lynn volunteers with the American Diabetes Association and the Accounting Aid Society. He is also a recipient of the Michigan Association of Society Executives Rising Leaders Award.
