Brian W Singleton

Brian is a member of the FORVIS accounting outsourcing and advisory services practice where he is the Sage Intacct subject matter expert and technical lead and sits on the AOS Steering Committee. Brian joined FORVIS (BKD at the time) in 2019 as part of the Technologies division where he served as the Sage Intacct consulting team leader and subject matter expert.

Prior to joining FORVIS, he spent eleven years serving as Chief Financial Officer for a regional hospitality operator where he oversaw the accounting and billing departments and was responsible for financial reporting, tax and municipal compliance, treasury management, leasing and real estate, risk management, and investor and banking relationships. Brian's tenure included the evaluation and implementation of the Sage Intacct ERP in 2009 as well as several other systems implementations.

During Brian's time as a Sage Intacct user, he participated in various product marketing efforts and was a contributing member to the Chicago Sage Intacct User Group.

He began his career with seven years in public accounting at a firm in Chicago where he managed various accounting and attestation engagements, tax preparation and outsourced accounting projects.

Brian is a 2001 graduate of Krannert School of Management at Purdue University, West Lafayette, Indiana, with a B.S. degree in Accounting with a minor in Management Information Systems. He also is a Certified Sage Intacct Implementation Specialist and Certified Sage Intacct Accounting Specialist.
