Mr. D. Kirk Edwards P.E.

President & CEO, Latigo Petroleum, LLC

Kirk Edwards is President and CEO of Latigo Petroleum, LLC in Odessa, Texas. In this role he manages, operates, and develops diverse oil and gas assets and surface lands with properties located in the Panhandle of Texas and Western Oklahoma.

His previous roles include Executive Vice President of Key Energy Services, Inc, President/Owner/Founder of Odessa Exploration, Inc, an independent oil and gas company which was sold to Key Energy in 1993. Kirk was elected to Key Energy's Board of directors in 1993 and named Executive Vice President at that time. Key was the largest well servicing contractor in the United States at that time and employed over 10,000 people throughout the country. Kirk also served as Field/Reservoir/Drilling Engineer for Texaco, Inc. and worked in different disciplines of Petroleum Engineering for Texaco in West Texas and Southeastern New Mexico.

Kirk is the former Chairman of the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas' El Paso Branch Board, a registered Professional Engineer in the State of Texas and former Speaker of the Texas House Joe Straus appointee to the Oilfield Cleanup Fund Advisory Committee; past chairman of the Permian Basin Petroleum Association; past chairman of the Odessa Chamber of Commerce; current chairman of The Permian Fuels America Task Force; University of Texas Permian Basin ZBT business honor fraternity member; past director of the Society of Petroleum Engineers; former appointee of Texas Governor Rick Perry to the West Texas Regional Center for Innovation and Commercialization; Lieutenant Governor Dan Patrick appointee to his energy advisory committee; former University Lands board member; and current Texas Business Hall of Fame board member.

Kirk earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin.
