Harris has 30 years of executive–level experience working with complex organizations in the nonprofit space. Harris’ has a wide range of experience including working as a CFO, auditor, forensic accountant, and consultant throughout his career. Harris joins NYSSCPA from his most recent role serving as Senior Vice President, Finance, and Chief Financial Officer for the National Urban League (NUL), based in New York City. Prior to joining NUL, he was the Vice President for Administration and Finance for the Baltimore City Community College. The Baltimore Business Journal named Harris a “Best in Finance: CFO” award recipient, and twice he has been named one of the “Top 100 Most Influential People in Accounting” by Accounting Today magazine. Calvin received his Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Morehouse College in 1992.
