EVP, General Manager West Territory, Rabo AgriFinance

In his role as General Manager of the West Territory for Rabo AgriFinance, Van Dewey oversees the Customer Relationship Teams in Colorado, Idaho, Kansas, Montana, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Oregon, Nevada, Texas, Utah, Washington and Wyoming, leading functional teams in the growth and execution of business development. The territory provides financial services to leading farmers, ranchers and agribusinesses, who produce and further process small grains and oilseeds, dairy, poultry, vegetables and fruits and beef cattle, in a diverse area of the country. Actively involved with his family farm in south-central Kansas, Van has over 30 years of agricultural lending experience. In 2004, Van opened one of the first offices in Rabo AgriFinance, located in Wichita, Kansas, and grew the Kansas portfolio to one of the largest markets in Rabo AgriFinance. Following a promotion to Team Leader in 2005, he was further promoted to Regional Vice President in 2007 and to Managing Director in 2010. Since 2010, the West Territory has grown to be the largest territory in both portfolio size and employees in Rabo AgriFinance. Prior to his role at Rabo AgriFinance, Van held roles in agricultural lending, with more than 15 years of Farm Credit Services experience; managing local offices as well as experience at US Bank's Agribusiness Group. Van holds a bachelor's degree in agricultural education from Kansas State University.
