Rachel leads CBRE's Debt & Structured Finance business in the United States—the leading provider of commercial and multifamily financing. This team works closely with developers and commercial property owners, and leverages long-term, established relationships with diverse capital sources, including banks, pension funds, life insurance and credit companies, conduits/CMBS entities, government-sponsored enterprises, and global investors. Previously, she was the Global Chief Operating Officer of CBRE's global Capital Markets business, comprised of Property Sales, Debt & Structured Finance, and Capital Advisors—the firm's investment banking division. In this role, she supported the Capital Markets leadership team and platform in the execution of strategic initiatives, while driving best practices and ensuring alignment and efficiencies across CBRE's Americas, Asia Pacific, and Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) regions. Rachel has more than 20 years of experience in real estate and financial services. She served as Senior Vice President and Head of Finance for CBRE's Americas Advisory business segment, overseeing financial support and business partnering, and playing a key role in strategic initiatives, M&A and recruiting for Advisory and Transactions Services, Capital Markets, Valuations and Property Management. Prior to joining CBRE, Rachel spent six years with Barings Multifamily Capital, LLC, where she elevated to President overseeing strategic direction and operations for the debt origination and servicing company. Rachel is a member of the Mortgage Bankers Association (MBA), the National Multifamily Housing Council (NMHC) and the Urban Land Institute (ULI). She currently serves as a board member of 4Word and the Texas Women's Foundation, where she is the Chair of the Investment Committee and a member of the Economic Leadership Council. She also serves on the Advisory Council for the Women's Business Collaborative. She received her BSBA, Magna Cum Laude, in International Business from Hawaii Pacific University and earned an MBA in Finance from Loyola University Chicago, Quinlan School of Business. Rachel and her husband reside in Dallas, TX.
