Bill Bailey JD, LLM, CPA

Bill Bailey, JD, LLM, CPA, is an Associate Professor of Accounting and Chair of the Bradley Accounting Department. Bill started at Bradley in the Fall of 2016 and became a tenured faculty member Spring of 2020. He teaches tax and financial principles classes and his research is focused on policy implications for tax practitioners. He returned the VITA program to Bradley in 2018 where he trains students to prepare free tax returns for low income individuals and families in economically depressed areas of the local community.

Bill is a CPA and licensed attorney (inactive). In graduate school he interned at an estate planning law firm and the IRS Office of Chief Counsel. He started his professional career at KPMG in Seattle as a tax associate, and continues to consult with nonprofits and individuals concerning tax issues. Bill and his wife have four sons and he enjoys coachingĀ junior high and high school football.
