President and Founding Partner, Asset Dedication

Brent Burns is the President and Co-Founder of Asset Dedication, a Turnkey Asset Management Platform for financial planners. He is also the co-author of the book Asset Dedication: How to Grow Wealthy with the Next Generation of Asset Allocation published by McGraw Hill in 2005. He also frequently writes academic and practitioner articles on investment management and financial planning. Brent also frequently teaches Quantitative Business Analysis and Principles of Finance in the undergraduate School of Management and Personal Financial Planning in the MBA program at the University of San Francisco. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Organization from the University of California, Berkeley and an MBA with honors from the University of San Francisco. Brent is also a former world class pole vaulter. He was an All-American while at Cal, a member of the 1994 US National Track and Field Team, and a 3-time finalist at the US Olympic Trials.
