Mimi Blanco-Best CPA

Mimi Blanco-Best, CPA, is Associate Director - Attestation Methodology and Guidance for the AICPA's Assurance Services Executive Committee, where she is responsible for the development of the SOC suite of services, including SOC for Cybersecurity, SOC 2, and SOC for Supply Chain. She is responsible for the development of attest and advisory services related to other emerging technologies.

This is Mimi's second time at the AICPA. The first time, she was a technical manager with the Auditing Standards Division, where she participated in the development of numerous authoritative auditing and attestation standards. In between, Mimi wrote "how-to" books on a variety of topics, including nonattest services and SOC examinations, for a leading publisher of guidance for small-to-medium sized CPA firms. Prior to that, Mimi worked for seven years in a variety of local and international public accounting firms, where she provided auditing and consulting services to a broad range of clients.
