Kathy Bostjancic is the Chief US Financial Economist at Oxford Economics. She is responsible for assessing the macroeconomic outlook and how it will influence Federal Reserve monetary policy and financial markets.

Kathy has extensive experience providing insightful global economic and financial market analysis to investors and Fortune 500 business leaders. She has a deep understanding of U.S. monetary and fiscal policy and its impact on the economy and markets, acquired through her years as a financial market economist. Kathy has worked at Citicorp Investment Bank, Union Bank of Switzerland, and Merrill Lynch as the Senior Director, U.S. economist.

Additionally, prior to joining Oxford Economics, Kathy was the Director for Macroeconomic Analysis at The Conference Board. She oversaw the U.S. economic forecast and was a member of the team that produced the global outlook.

Kathy is frequently cited in leading financial and business publications such as the Wall Street Journal, the Financial Times, Bloomberg, and the New York Times, and she regularly appears on radio and Bloomberg and CNBC television programs. She holds an MA in economics from New York University and a BA in economics from Rutgers College.
