Andrew Carrington

Incubated and spun out from the Pohanka Automotive Group in mid-2021, Mr. Carrington formed Solutios as a "for dealer enterprise". He has over 40 years in various executive leadership/ownership positions at companies including Lockheed Martin, Pixar, Silicon Graphics, Cambridge Technology Group, Foresight Systems, Mediatronics and most recently at the Pohanka Automotive Group. Mr. Carrington is a serial entrepreneur and a pioneer in a wide range of technology sectors from MILAERO/Defense, semiconductor design, advanced graphics and image processing, unmanned/robotic systems, systems design & simulation tools and embedded software including areas of artificial intelligence such as natural language processing, machine vision, design optimization and simulation and autonomous flight control.

For over eight (8) years, Mr. Carrington has served as the Chief of Innovation, Technology & Applications (CTO) for the Pohanka Automotive Group, one of the nation's oldest and most respected franchise dealer organizations. As CTO, Mr. Carrington has spearheaded several strategic initiatives including digital payment solutions and merchant processing workflow improvement; customer retention/data analytics, interactive training/eLMS for enterprise-wide content deployment; PCI compliance and information security oversight; and fleet/asset and loaner management. In addition, he has overseen the launch of a set of universal DMS/ERP APIs for a variety of software applications targeted at fixed operations workflow optimization and digital payments. Driving efficiencies and innovation while improving the customer experience has been a hallmark of Mr. Carrington's tenure at Pohanka.

Mr. Carrington attended Duke University with degrees in Bio-medical Engineering and Computer Science and has advanced degrees from Cambridge University and University College London.
