Vice President, General Manager - Southwest, The Weitz Company

Kimberly Davids is the Vice President for The Weitz Company in Southwest region. As the leader of the Arizona office, she provides strategic vision to foster the Weitz brand and market growth while also ensuring excellent project performance. She has over 20 years of construction industry experience having served in a variety of roles throughout her career including project engineer, superintendent, project manager, project executive, and operations manager.

In 2017, Davids was appointed to the role of General Manager. She is the first female and youngest employee to hold this position in the company's history. She was recognized in ENR's National Top 20 Under 40 List in 2018. Kim was promoted to Vice President in 2020. When not managing the day to day operations for Weitz's Arizona operations, she serves on the board for a variety of trade organizations including the Greater Phoenix Chamber of Commerce, Arizona Builders Alliance, and Valley Partnership, with a focus on workforce collaboration, education, and legislation. She is also a sought after speaker on construction industry trends and leadership insights and an active member and volunteer within NAIOP, SIOR, ULI, and the Support Sky Harbor Coalition. Kim also supports the Alzheimer's Association through fundraising and events throughout the year.

Davids holds a civil engineering degree from the University of Illinois, Champaign-Urbana. She and her husband John, reside in Scottsdale with their two German Shepard mixes, Coach and Ditka. In her spare time, she enjoys hiking with the pups and traveling to locations that allow her to enjoy new cultures and activities like scuba diving and skiing. She is an avid runner and just recently completed a goal of completing forty-five half marathons before turning the age of forty-five. Her next goal is fifty more adventures before fifty.
