Ryan M Newburn

Ryan M. Newburn earned a Bachelor of Science in Economics and Bachelor of Arts in Agricultural and Resource Economics and Philosophy from the University of Arizona, earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Arizona, James E. Rogers School of Law, and earned his Masters of Business Administration from the University of Arizona, Eller School of Management.

Ryan's practice areas include corporate formations, corporate governance, commercial contract negotiations, mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance, energy and natural resource law and contract general counsel services. Ryan's clients have ranged from startups to billion dollar established enterprises and he has served as a key executive in several companies including as Vice President and General Counsel of ARB Midstream, LLC, Chief Commercial Officer and General Counsel of Black Canyon Midstream, LLC and Vice President and Assistant General Counsel of American Midstream Partners, LP (NYSE: AMID).

Mentored by the titans of corporate law during his time at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom, Ryan has successfully negotiated over $16 billion in mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures; $13 billion in debt and equity financings; and negotiated hundreds purchase and sale, non-disclosure, master service, license, letter, and similar agreements. This first-hand experience, combined with his knowledge of corporate law and his formal business education, has earned Ryan the trust of investors, executive teams, and boards of directors across the country.
