Hisham Kader
Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, GID Investment Advisers LLC
Hisham Kader is Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of GID and oversees Capital Markets, Finance and Accounting, Tax, Human Resources, Technology, Risk Management, and Compliance. Before joining GID in 2016, Mr. Kader was Chief Financial Officer of W. P. Carey (WPC), a public REIT headquartered in New York City. Mr. Kader is an established leader with a record in developing and executing strategic objectives, building high-performing teams, and enhancing operational efficiencies.
Before joining WPC in 2011, he worked for fourteen years at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) in New York, including six years at their offices in Sydney, Australia, and Brussels, Belgium, primarily advising public and private Asian and European companies, respectively. At PwC, he was a Director in their Transaction Services practice and advised companies on capital markets transactions, SEC reporting and compliance, accounting standards implementation, and finance effectiveness.
Mr. Kader received a Bachelor's degree in Electronics and Communication engineering from the Manipal Institute of Technology in India, an M.B.A. in Finance from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, and an M.S. in Accounting from Pace University. He also is a Certified Public Accountant licensed in the state of New York.
