Manny Matalon CPA, CISA, CRISC, PMP

Manny Matalón has over 20 years of experience providing audit and advisory services to businesses across a number of heavily regulated industries that include insurance, banking, real estate, construction, and higher education. He is currently a Principal of H&CO's Audit Division, where he is responsible for leading the division's strategy and maintaining a systematic, value-added approach to audit execution for its portfolio of more than 100 construction clients. Manny also serves as the firm's Advisory Practice Leader where he leverages his professional background in accounting and information technology, and his experience leading audit and risk management activity for public and private multinationals across North and South America, Europe and Asia-Pacific. This experience includes a decade working in Deloitte's Audit & Enterprise Risk Services Group, and prior to joining H&CO, serving as the Chief Audit Executive for Laureate Education, a $4.5B publicly-traded higher education company with operations in more than 30 countries. ​ Manny graduated from Florida International University with a double-major in Accounting and Management Information Systems, and subsequently obtained his Master of Accounting from the Chapman Graduate School of Business. ​ He is also a licensed CPA in the state of Florida and holds a number of certifications, which include that of Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), Certified Risk and Information System Control Professional (CRISC) and a Certified Project Management Professional (PMP).​
