Brett Balavender

Brett is an Partner the Regional Leader in our Norwalk, Connecticut office. Brett is a Client Practice Leader focused on Corporate Defined Benefit Plans. In his role, he is responsible for leading the client teams and thought leadership in the Corporate Pension market. In addition to his leadership responsibilities, Brett advises a number of large client relationships, working on the development, implementation, and management of investment and risk management programs across both defined benefit and defined contribution plans.

During his time at Aon, Brett has served as an asset class leader within the Global Management Evaluation Team and led many special projects focused on asset allocation, risk management and alternative investments. Brett has also moderated and presented on panels at industry conferences such as those held by Pensions & Investments. Prior to joining the firm in 2003, Brett worked as a portfolio analyst at Putnam Investments.

Brett graduated with an MBA with high honors in Finance from The Dolan School of Management at Fairfield University and a BA in Economics from Boston College
