Mohammad is a Nat'l Exp. Assurance Manager, Audit & Audit Data Analytics with BDO's National Audit Data Analytics Practice. Mohammad has over 9 + years of progressive experience in the accounting and audit industry performing audits for the State and Local Governments, and Not for Profit Organizations, including Single Audits. Mohammad's experience includes evaluating complex accounting pronouncements / authoritative guidance that could potentially impact clients. Mohammad is passionate about integrating audit data analytics into audits. Prior to joining the BDO's National ADA Group, Mohammad worked closely with the National ADA Group in helping implement ADA tools into audits and providing ADA related training. Mohammad's role on the National Audit Data Analytics group includes focusing on expanding the toolkit of ADAs for the Not for Profit and Governmental practices, and developing industry specific augmentations, ADA platform, and change management strategies. Mohammad is a CPA, CFF, CFE, and CGMA, and holds an MBA in Accounting, and MAFM in Accounting and Financial Management from Keller Graduate School of Management. Mohammad studied Data Science and Data Analytics at George Washington University, and is fluent in several programing languages such as Python, R, JavaScript, and DAX, and is currently leading the machine learning projects in the NFP's financial and single audit space.
