Chief Financial Officer and Senior Vice President of CityCenter, CityCenter

Mark Lefever is Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of CityCenter, a joint venture between MGM Resorts International (NYSE: MGM) and Infinity World Development Corp, a wholly owned subsidiary of Dubai World, where he has financial oversight for the AAA Five-Diamond ARIA Resort & Casino and Vdara Hotel & Spa.

Having served in this role since April 2019, Mark is responsible for the financial activities and planning for 5,500 guest rooms; separate hotel-within-the-hotel brands; 150,000 square feet of gaming space; more than 30 restaurants, bars and lounges; and 500,000 square feet of technologically advanced meeting and convention space. In addition, he financially manages the property’s international joint venture relationship and oversees all financial departments and the casino cage.

Mark began his career with MGM in 2015 as the MGM Grand Detroit’s Chief Financial Officer and Vice President and led successful union negotiations, prepared quarterly independent audits, and streamlined efficiency by implementing updated financial procedures. In 2017 Mark became the was the Chief Financial Officer and Vice President for the Luxor Hotel & Casino, where he contributed significantly to the brand’s performance, growth, and organizational effectiveness

From 2011 to 2015, Mark served as Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer for The Light Group, where he spearheaded new development projects and business growth opportunities for 25 nightclubs, lounges, pools, and restaurant venues

Mark started his career with Arthur Andersen’s audit practice and as Audit & Business Advisory Manager with overall responsibility for a number of public and private clients including Caesars Atlantic City, Formica Worldwide, Ferrero USA, and Hallmark Entertainment

Prior to joining MGM, Mark held a number of operational and finance Leadership roles in the casino & hospitality arena, as the CFO of Sheraton Casino, the COO & CFO of The Desert Inn Resort & Casino, the General Manager of Trump29 Casino, the SVP & CFO of Resorts International Hotel & Casino, the EVP & CFO of the Riviera Holdings Corporation, including president of Rivera Blackhawk, the CFO and chief gaming officer of Fontainebleau Las Vegas and the COO & CFO of The Light Group

Among his community activities Mark is a past board member of the Junior Achievement Society of Southern Nevada, past executive committee member for the Shriners Hospital for Children’s PGA Charity Golf event and the past executive director of the LPGA Tour Championship. Mark is currently a member of the New Jersey’s Society of CPA’s and a current board member of the Foundation for Women’s Leadership & Empowerment

Mark holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the Villanova University and was a licensed CPA in New Jersey and Pennsylvania (inactive). He and his wife Donna reside in Las Vegas and have one daughter.
