Chuck Pierce

Chuck has 30 years of professional experience in the areas of finance and governmental relations in a variety of governmental and private sector activities. His governmental experience includes terms as the Deputy State Auditor for Missouri, and a city finance director. His private sector experience includes positions as Controller and Chief Financial Officer for companies in the construction materials and real estate development areas. He has developed and conducted training courses for governmental and private sector auditors and accountants and regularly makes presentations before governmental boards, commissions, and committees.

He has a long history of providing government relations services to the Missouri Society of CPAs. He has served as chair of the legislative committee, member of the Uniform Accounting Act task force, and Chairman of the Board of Directors. For the past ten years he has served as the Governmental Relations Consultant for the society. In this role he coordinates all government relations and lobbying efforts for the MOCPA.

Chuck is a licensed Certified Public Accountant in Missouri and also holds the Chartered Global Management Accountant certification with the American Institute of CPAs. He belongs to the AICPA, MOCPA and several other professional and civic organizations.
