My work experience includes:
1. Considerable involvement in financial, compliance, and single audits.
2. Planning and performing various financial and compliance audits, management advisory service engagements and
agreed-upon procedures engagements for different nonprofit organizations, government entities and small businesses for more than 25 years.
3. Acquisition of advanced skills in special audit areas such as voluntary health and welfare organizations, health care
centers, single audits, community colleges, student financial aid, and state-funded grant programs.
4. Implementing accounting systems installations.
5. Performing peer reviews of small and medium-sized accounting firms.
6. Having served on the Peer Review Acceptance Committee of the Illinois CPA Society which is the body that reviews
all peer reviews submitted by CPA firms in Illinois in order to remain in compliance with the AICPA peer review program.

My certifications and positions served include:

1. Licensed CPA - Illinois
2. Served as the Treasurer of the National Association of Black Accountants-Central Region
3. Served on the Executive Committee of the AICPA's Private Company Practice Section (PCPS)
4. Served as Treasurer for NABA-Central Region and NABA-Chicago

My other working experience includes having worked as a supervising senior auditor for Ernst & Young LLP; KPMG LLP; and staff auditor for Washington, Pittman, and McKeever, LLC; Deloitte & Touche LLP; and Watson Rice LLP. I also was a senior auditor in the internal audit departments of Ameritech Corporation, Aon Corporation, and Illinois Tool Works.

Specialties:
Providing audit, accounting, tax and consulting services to not-for-profit organizations, government agencies, and small businesses. Also, providing peer review services to small and mid-sized CPA firms.
