Guilherme has started his career in the Volvo Group in 1989, as head of engine development at the engineering office in Curitiba-Brazil. In 1992 he moved to Gothenburg-Sweden as CPM for the NH truck platform for Latin America. When moving back to Curitiba in 1994, Guilherme has reengineer the Quality & Operations in L.America, wining the Swedish Quality Award in 1998 and relocating back to Sweden as head of Volvo Trucks Global Quality. Between 2001 and 2005, Guilherme lead the Group Aftermarket operations in L.America, establishing the offices in Curitiba, B.Aires, Santiago, Lima and Caracas, driving remarkable growth and superior customer satisfaction. 

At the helm of Retail Development, Guilherme lead Volvo to be awarded as best heavy-duty distribution network in 2007. A year later he moved to the company headquarters in Sweden as Director Retail Development International Operations, responsible for the distribution network strategy and its operational and financial performance in South Asia & Pacific, Africa, Middle East and Latin America.

In 2010 Guilherme relocated to Greensboro-USA as VP Mack Global Aftermarket and Retail, responsible for developing the Mack brand franchise value and promoting customer satisfaction by providing clear aftermarket policies, measurable standards, efficient processes and user-friendly tools to the regional teams in South Asia & Pacific, Africa, M.East and L.America. 

As VP Customer Experience for Mack & Volvo Brands, Guilherme led continuous improvement and innovation of Uptime Services, effectively using customer feedback to lead business model transformation, improving 10 points in NPS and reducing closed loop feedback lead-time by halve.
