Charlene Rhinehart CPA, PMP

Charlene Rhinehart is a personal finance editor, speaker, and educator. She serves on the Board of Directors of The White Dress Project and was selected for Investopedia's Financial Review Board. She is also past chair of the Illinois CPA Society Individual Tax Committee and founder of Chicago Southsider — a Facebook Bulletin newsletter-turned-community news site that helps to "unlock the best of Chicago's South Side, one block at a time." Charlene frequently speaks at conferences and events. Her work has been featured on platforms all over the web, including Accounting Today, American Express, The Motley Fool, Black Enterprise, and Illinois CPA Society Insight Magazine. Charlene is a 3x best-selling author of Debt-Free Before Graduation, Dividends Are a Queen's Best Friend, and How to Find Happiness Again. She is a graduate of the AICPA Leadership Academy and was recognized as a CPA Practice Advisor 40 Under 40, Top 50 Women in Accounting, and 2019 Illinois CPA Society Woman to Watch. In 2023, she was selected as a Solutions Journalism LEDE Fellow.
