Cannabis Solution Group National Director & Principal, HBK CPAs and Consultants

Nick is a Principal in the Youngstown, Ohio office of HBK CPAs & Consultants and is the Director of HBK's Cannabis Solutions Group. He began his public accounting career in 2004 with HBK.

Nick has extensive experience working with closely-held companies and their owners. He provides tax and assurance services to clients in the medical and adult use cannabis industries and the industrial hemp industry.  He has presented at industry related conferences, prepared and presented continuing professional education on accounting and financial aspects of the cannabis industry and served on various panels as a subject matter expert on the medical and adult use cannabis industries and the industrial hemp industry.  As the Director of HBK's Cannabis Solutions Group, he is responsible for the growth and strategic direction of HBK's Cannabis Solutions Group, in addition to day to day involvement with all aspects of this area of HBKs practice.  Nick provides consulting, assurance, tax and business advisory services to clients located across the United States and abroad.    

Nick's early career consisted of serving clients in the transportation, construction, and manufacturing industries. Nick is relentless in promoting HBK and he works hard to help clients make informed decisions.  He is also involved in the community and volunteers with several organizations.

Nick earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in Accounting and his Master of Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting from Youngstown State University.  He is a member of the Ohio Society of Certified Public Accountants (OSCPA), the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and has served in leadership and membership roles in The Rotary Club of Warren, Ohio, Access Health Mahoning Valley, The Builders Association of Eastern Ohio and Western Pennsylvania - Trumbull Division, Youngstown State University Penguin Club, and National Packard Museum. He is also currently the treasurer of The Oakwood Cemetery Association and the Trumbull Country Club.
