Edward K. Sperling serves as Executive Vice President and Corporate Controller, for CIT Group Inc. and CIT Bank N.A. Mr. Sperling also serves as the company's Principal Accounting Officer and has primary responsibility for managing the Controller's organization, including SEC and regulatory reporting.
Prior to this position, Mr. Sperling was a Senior Vice President and Deputy Controller. As a veteran of three decades within the CIT Finance organization, Mr. Sperling has also held numerous other leadership roles in Corporate Accounting, Internal Audit, Credit, Financial Planning & Analysis, Investor Relations, Technology and Treasury. Mr. Sperling holds a bachelor's degree in Accounting from Rutgers University and an MBA in Finance from Seton Hall University.
