Her experience includes audit, tax, due diligence, business valuation, litigation support, and accounting services in public practice and private industry. For the last 10 years, Kirstine has provided business valuation and litigation support services for a variety of purposes, including marital dissolution, shareholder disputes, estate & gift tax, ESOPs, stock compensation, succession planning, and financial reporting.
Kirstine graduated from California State University San Bernardino in 1998 with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting. Kirstine holds her CPA license in the Commonwealth of Virginia, is Accredited in Business Valuation (ABV) by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), and is a Certified Valuation Analyst (CVA) with the National Association of Certified Valuators and Analysts (NACVA). She is also a member of the AICPA's ABV Credential Committee and is Co-Chair of the Northern Virginia Chapter of the Virginia Society of Certified Public Accountants (VSCPA) Forensic-Valuation Committee. Most recently, Kirstine had the opportunity to work with leaders in the forensics and valuation services (FVS) industry to help create the AICPA's FVS podcast series on diversity and inclusion.
