Brian Miller

Brian is an audit partner with over 18 years of public accounting experience including working with public and private companies, ranging from development stage companies to accelerated filers with multi-national operations. 

As BDO's National Audit Analytics & Innovation partner, Brian sponsors the BDO USA and BDO Global Audit Data Analytics initiatives, and the BDO USA Audit Innovation initiative.  

Brian works closely with the firm's leaders to set audit innovation strategies, evaluate short term and long-term priorities, and to establish the measures of positive impact to BDO's future while nurturing a global culture of convergence and imagination to realize the space between improbable to possible to the modern norm.  

Brian is involved in several standard setting activities, and authored portions of the AICPA 'Guide to Audit Data Analytics'.  Brian also served on the Rutgers AICPA Data Analytics Research ('RADAR') initiative, and is serving on the Center for Audit Quality ('CAQ') Data Analytics Task Force, focusing on advanced integration of data analytics into the audit process and demonstrating, through research, how modern technologies can advance the public accounting profession. 

In 2019, Brian was awarded the BDO Medal, given annually to professionals in recognition of significant contributions to the development of the BDO global network through their professional activities.
