As Managing Partner of Baker Tilly's D.C. Metro area, Monica Modi Dalwadi provides oversight and leadership to the over 400 professionals serving the region.  Monica provides insight and advice to client engagement teams, fostering employee development and recruiting, and driving growth.

She serves clients focusing on internal auditing, risk assessment, fraud and forensics reviews and strategic consulting on a wide range of business issues.

She is a leader on Baker Tilly's national Diversity and Inclusion steering committee and served on the firm's strategy committee.  She also serves on Baker Tilly's Growth and Retention of Women D.C. committee.

She's a board member of The Economic Club of Washington, D.C.; The Greater Washington Board of Trade; and Junior Achievement of Greater Washington.

She's been recognized as 2022 "Women Who Means Business" by The Washington Business Journal; a 2016 Minority Business Leader by the Washington Business Journal; and received a 2015 Brava! Award from SmartCEO magazine, which recognizes female business leaders for their motivation, success and contributions to the community.
