Steve Keene serves as the Managing Partner for the Albuquerque office of Moss Adams LLP. Moss Adams is national accounting and consulting firm with headquarters in the western United States. As one of the very first public accounting firms to specialize by industry, we strive to know your business.
Steve has over 25 years of experience as a state and local tax consultant, including economic development and tax policy, but these also include many years as a business leader and practice developer. His management and leadership experiences span state and local governments, local, regional and international accounting firms.
Steve finds that he is most drawn to the challenges of running a fun, successful and profitable professional services firm, while continuing to innovate and evolve the business model. He constantly looks to recruit outstanding leaders who enjoy working collectively to align and build an organization that differentiates itself from the competition, through outstanding service, high level technical expertise, creative thinking and a willingness to listen and help our clients solve their problems.
Steve is constantly amazed and energized by the ever-changing nature of the accounting business environment he works in and the stream of highly talented people with whom he comes in contact, as clients, staff and partners.
Managing Partner can be viewed as an administrative role, but Steve views it as an opportunity to be a catalyst for change, to understand and lead complex systems, to evolve and constantly improve business practices and to influence not just my his organization, but the client’s organizations and civic organizations with whom he comes in contact.
