Ronda Sedillo is in her ninth season as senior vice president/chief financial officer after joining the Padres in January 2013. She is one of the five female CFOs in Major League Baseball and sits on the league's CFO Insurance Task Force. Ronda received the 2016 San Diego Business Journal CFO of the Year Award and 2017 SDBJ Exemplary Service Award. In 2019, she was honored with the first WISE San Diego Women of Inspiration award. She brings more than 30 years of experience in the accounting industry to her role including 12 years at Arrowhead General Insurance Agency, Inc. (AGIA), serving as chief accounting and chief financial officer. Prior to her time at AGIA, Sedillo spent seven years at PricewaterhouseCoopers, serving as a tax manager for the final three years.

A San Diego native and life-long Padres fan, Sedillo received a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting from San Diego State University. She remains active at her alma mater, serving on the Campanile Foundation Athletics Committee and as a guest lecturer and mentor for the Sports MBA program. She actively participates in the Aztec Mentor Program and currently serves as a Red Coat for the San Diego Bowl Games Association and is an active member of the San Diego CFO Roundtable and the CFO Leadership Council.
