Michelle Boyd is the chief compliance officer and chief privacy officer for Baptist Health Care Corporation in Pensacola, Florida. In her role, she oversees the organization’s corporate compliance department and is responsible for maintaining an effective compliance program. Michelle joined Baptist Health Care in 2010 as in-house counsel with the corporate legal team focusing on employment law compliance and health care related risk and compliance. Prior to joining Baptist, she worked as an associate attorney at Akerman Senterfitt in Tampa, Florida. Michelle earned her BA from Florida State University and her JD from The University of Florida. She also holds a certification in health care compliance (CHC).
