Angela is an audit partner in the Houston office of Grant Thornton LLP with more than 27 years of auditing experience. She is the Houston office Government, Higher Education and Not-for-Profit Practice Leader. Angela regularly provides financial statement audit services to a variety of higher education, not-for-profit and government entities. She has a thorough understanding of the requirements associated with governmental accounting and Single audits. Angela is responsible for ensuring an efficient and effective audit, advising clients in audit and financial reporting issues and assisting clients with internal control and process improvement projects. She spent the first 16 years of her career at two international public accounting firms focused on the public sector industry. She is a regular speaker and participant at local and regional not for profit and governmental conferences.
