Doug Wright

Mr. Wright serves as the Chief Financial Officer for Mission Federal Credit Union, a $5 billion community-based credit union located in San Diego, California. Prior to joining Mission Fed, Mr. Wright served as CFO for Silvergate Bank in San Diego and Intermountain Community Bancorp in Spokane, Washington. He also previously served as Senior Vice President and Production Manager with Sterling Savings Bank, and in various branch and credit administration positions with West One Bank.

Mr. Wright holds an MBA from Gonzaga University and undergraduate degrees in finance and accounting from the University of California, Berkeley and Boise State University, respectively. He is also a graduate of Pacific Coast Banking School, earning top honors in his class in this executive banking program.

Mr. Wright's professional involvement includes serving on the Financial Accounting Standards Board Transition Resource Group for CECL , the AICPA Depository Institution Expert Panel, and the NAFCU Regulatory Affairs Committee. He was also a member of the ABA Accounting Advisory Committee, and has taught at the Pacific Coast Banking School and Whitworth University. He has held leadership roles in many community organizations, including the San Diego Council on Literacy, Jobs Plus, Daybreak Youth Services, and the United Cerebral Palsy Foundation, and has volunteered with United Way, Feeding San Diego, the Girl Scouts and Leadership Spokane.
