Jumana Poonawala joined U.S. Bank in March 2019 as the Chief Program Officer for the LIBOR Transition Office (“LTO”) based in Treasury. The LTO is charged with the execution of a coordinated strategy to manage the transition away from LIBOR by end 2021. Jumana brings over eighteen years of financial advisory and operations experience, including ETF sub-advisory, in the asset management space. She was an Investment Officer and Co-Head of the Global Trade & Supply Finance group at International Finance Corporation (IFC), a member of the World Bank. Previously, she was at Chatham Financial, an interest rate and currency hedging advisory firm based out of Pennsylvania. Prior to that, she was at

Deloitte Consulting in the Financial Services Group in New York.

Jumana holds an MPA in International Development Economics from Harvard University and a BA in Economics from Brandeis University. She is a member of the Investment Committee serving the Board of Directors at Hennepin County Medical Center (HCMC) in Minneapolis.
