Wendy Bell

Ms. Bell is currently serving as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer for Carter Bank & Trust in Martinsville, VA. In this capacity, Ms. Bell is responsible for all aspects of the organization's financial and accounting activities for the bank including regulatory reports, accounting operations, financial planning and analysis, treasury, investor relations, and risk management efforts. Ms. Bell's distinguished financial services career extends over 35 years in financial management positions.

Prior to joining Carter Bank & Trust, Ms. Bell served First Commonwealth Financial Corporation as Senior Vice President and Senior Financial Officer from 2010 to 2017 in Indiana, Pennsylvania. Ms. Bell also served S&T Bancorp, Inc. as Senior Vice President, Controller and Chief Accounting Officer from 1985 to 2010 also in Indiana, Pennsylvania. In addition to her many professional accomplishments, Ms. Bell has been actively involved in numerous community organizations. She has served as Chairwomen of the Indiana County Chapter American Red Cross Board, a member of the Indiana Healthcare Corporation Board, a member of the Financial Executives International and a member of Banknet CFO Peer Group. Ms. Bell received her Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virginia.
