Experienced Senior Manager with a demonstrated history of working in the accounting industry and focused on Not-for-Profit and Higher Education Institutions. Over 10 years of experience managing the audits of large, complex clients including institutions of higher education, religious organizations, private foundations, museums and membership organizations, and social services organizations including those subject to Uniform Guidance audit requirements.
Angelica is a member of Grant Thornton's National Higher Education Sector Committee and works closely with her peers to continue to drive thought leadership and strategic insights for clients in this space. She is actively involved in preparing and presenting industry technical audit and accounting updates to both Grant Thornton professionals as well as external participants.
Additionally, Angelica is a local champion of Women at Grant Thornton and a member of the National Women at Grant Thornton External Relations Committee. She is also a member of the Steering Committee for the Women United Initiative of the United Way of Greater Philadelphia and Southern New Jersey and serves as Co-Chair of the Impact Subcommittee.
Angelica is a Certified Public Accountant in the state of Pennsylvania and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants. She received her Bachelors of Business Administration degree, summa cum laude, with a double major in accounting and finance from Drexel University.
