Lauren Pringle CPA

Lauren Pringle (Hegg) is a senior manager in Deloitte & Touche LLP's Accounting and Reporting Advisory practice based in Chicago. In this role, Lauren provides accounting advisory services to clients across a number of industries. Lauren specializes in assisting clients navigate complex transactions and the adoption of new accounting standards. Lauren also assists clients understand and operationalize the financial accounting and SEC reporting requirements of going public through an IPO or SPAC transaction.

Prior to assuming her current role, Lauren was a manager in Deloitte & Touche LLP's National Office - Accounting and Reporting Services group in Chicago for three years. In this role, she provided accounting consultation to the firm's client service personnel, particularly in the areas of revenue recognition, leasing, and consolidations. Lauren led National Office's Revenue Recognition subject matter team for two years. Additionally, Lauren monitored the activities of the various accounting standard-setting and regulatory organizations and updated firm guidance. Lauren was one of the primary authors of Deloitte's A Roadmap to Applying the New Revenue Recognition Standard and A Roadmap to Applying the New Leasing Standard.

Prior to joining Deloitte, Lauren was a Postgraduate Technical Assistant at the Financial Accounting Standards Board where she assisted with the development of the new revenue recognition standard (ASC 606/IFRS 15).

Lauren graduated from the University of Iowa with a Bachelor of Business Administration and Master of Accountancy degrees. She is a licensed CPA in Illinois, and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
