Sheri York CPA

Sheri York is a Professional Accounting Fellow in the Office of the Chief Accountant at the United States Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) in Washington, D.C. She joined the SEC staff in August 2017. In this role her responsibilities include consulting with registrants on accounting and reporting matters, following the activities of U.S. and international accounting standard setters, and participating in the development of the SEC’s and other standard setting bodies’ rule proposals.

Prior to joining the SEC staff, Sheri was a Senior Manager at PricewaterhouseCoopers where she spent time in the assurance practice, as well as in its National Office. She graduated from Indiana University and is a Certified Public Accountant licensed in Illinois and New York.
