David Schwartz J.D.

David Schwartz focuses his practice on corporate finance transactions, mergers and acquisitions, and securities law matters primarily in the technology, life sciences and healthcare industries. David advises a broad range of clients, including startup and emerging companies, publicly held middle-market companies, venture capital firms and underwriters. David's transactional experience includes IPOs, PIPEs, registered direct offerings and direct follow-on offerings, as well as venture capital, private equity, mergers and acquisitions, going-private and other strategic transactions. He regularly serves as outside general counsel for private and public companies at various stages of development and provides general corporate representation, including advice to boards of directors and management concerning corporate governance matters. David is a member of the firm's National Leadership Group of the US Emerging Growth and Venture Capital practice. While attending law school, David worked in the Division of Enforcement of the Securities and Exchange Commission (Philadelphia Regional Office).
